SalaryWe are looking for an experienced individual to join a growing and acquisitive business based in South Manchester who require a GroupFinancial Controller to join them. This is a newly created position and will assist in refining the current financial reporting processes across the Group. The business continues to grow both organically and through product offering, with possible further acquisitions on the horizon which will enhance the company portfolio.
It is a fast-paced organisation so you will need to build gravitas and work towards consolidating the processes and controls across this multi-site operation. You will be able to enhance the effectiveness of internal data provided to the Board, departmental managers, and stakeholders, therefore driving profitability and accountability with all departments across the business. Duties as GroupFinancial Controller will include:
Co-ordinate the reporting of the month end management accounts and provide advice on the accuracy and effectiveness of the reporting cycle and commentary provided.
Manage the statutory audit process as well as half year and year end reporting for the divisions.
Develop the effective management of internal expenditure and business performance against budget, including investments and capital assets.
Provide a deeper dive into the commercial controls and processes within the production side of the business.
Interrogate the group GP and develop the transparency of revenue margins in line with desired commercial outcomes.
Review the financial controls and process' and streamline efficiencies to achieve a cohesive reporting pack.
Manage the financial obligations of the Group and be the main point of contact for external parties.
Prepare the budgeting and forecasting process.
Responsible for all corporate governance activities, including asset finance, insurances, and company liabilities.
Manage a finance team across multiple sites and provide leadership and support for individual growth.
Assist with acquisitions when required, alongside the GFD.
