Group Financial Controller

This is a Group Financial Controller role for a highly regarded Real Estate Developer, Construction and Property Management company based in Manchester. The role has come about due to expansion in the wider finance team, and will manage the finance team day to day.

You will lead the production of Financial and Management Accounts on a monthly basis, ensuring the group of companies current Financial position is accounted for correctly. You will own the Financial Controls process across the business. You will work with the FP+A Manager to lead monthly departmental and budget holder meetings on Budget and Variance reports. You will manage the Statutory and VAT accounting process. As a member of the Senior Management Team, this Financial Controller job represents an opportunity to lead a large finance function, work with the management board on operational decision making and shape the strategy and growth of a high growth organisation.

You will be a Qualified Accountant with experience of managing a team in a finance function in a Property, Real Estate or Construction environment. You will be confident with managing senior stakeholders with complex requirements. This is a growth focussed Financial Controller job, with a superb FD as a mentor with plenty of additional functions to learn and develop.
