* Part time role working 9-10 days per month (completely flexible)
* Salary £30,000 per annum
* Reporting to MD/Board

* Ability to understand and integrate within the culture of a small highly sales focussed business with international operations.
* Willingness to understand the business, and its people, and adopt an accounting approach to suit
* Knowledge of cloud-based SAGE commercial software application
* People focussed person and relationship driven
* Willing to pick up a phone and talk to people - suppliers/customers to help resolve issues
* Experience in a commercial environment in a senior accounting role and be willing to add value to the business.
Specific Responsibilities include...
* Application of accounts processes on Sage 300 Accounting system
* Preparation of monthly management accounts, Quarterly Board reports and Budgets/Forecasts as required
* Preparation and processing of monthly payroll to Sage Payroll
* Updating monthly cash flow reports and managing cash on a daily basis.
* Oversight of the Purchase Ledger, weekly supplier payment runs and supplier statement reconciliations.
* Oversight of the Sales Ledger and credit control.
* Management of Confidential Invoices and where required performing reconciliations to the ledger.
* Liaising with customers and suppliers as required.
* Preparation of specified reports, forecasts and ad-hoc information for the Managing Director and the Board as required.
Personal Requirements include...
* Experience using MS Office, including a high-level of proficiency using Excel spreadsheets.
* Experience in Accounts preparation processes is an essential pre-requisite.
* Flexible working hours as schedules dictate.
* Reliable with a strong work ethic.
* Drive, determination, flexibility, a sense of humour and a diligent approach.
* Must embrace change and be willing to adopt new skills to support all areas of the business.
