Group Management Accountant

Do you have strong experience in a Management Accountant role? Your role as a Group Management Accountant role:
Working in a busy office, you will be overseeing the group accounts across 3 operating companies as well as ensuring the smooth running of the office. Duties will include:
· Preparing and analysing financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow
· Monitoring and managing budgets
· Financial forecasting and risk analysis to assist strategic decision-making
· Providing financial insight and recommendations to senior management to improve profitability and efficiency
· Collaborating across the business to develop and implement financial controls and processes
· Performing variance analysis to identify risks, trends, and opportunities for savings and growth
· Assisting in preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
· Ensuring accurate and timely month end and year end closing
· Overseeing the support team in the office to ensure the smooth running of the office

We would love to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
· Previous experience in a similar Management Accountant role
· A strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices
· Strong people / team management skills
· Ideally CPA or CMA certification
· Stable career history
· Ambitious with the desire and ability to progress to a CEO role in the next few years
· Proficient in using accounting software such as Sage, PeopleSoft, QuickBooks, or Xero
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
