The Opportunity:
As a Senior Manager Production in Assembly operations, you will manage and lead teams of people including Production Managers, Team Leaders, and Team Members. You will own and set the overall direction for the value streams in a given area, with overall responsibility for performance of the value streams.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Managing staffing, development, and performance management programs for operations staff; managing, motivating, and developing management team.
Overseeing operations activities, ensuring that safety, and schedules and performance requirements are met and system resources are used effectively.
Monitoring overall operations performance and implementing production safety, cost, and quality control mechanisms.
Ensures the compliance of all regulatory guidelines and forges a safe and sound manufacturing environment.

Required Qualifications:
Demonstrable knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and techniques and ability to create and support an environment that meets the quality goals of the organization.
Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
Experience of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
Understanding of successful performance management techniques; ability to apply organization's performance management system, practices, and tools to developing and improving individual, team, and organisational performance
Manufacturing operations understanding; ability to perform day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility for products.
Strong understanding of manufacturing safety; ability to identify work-related hazards and perform necessary activities to meet regulatory requirements for the safety and protection of workers, environment and site.
Knowledge of organizational standards, procedures and policies in manufacturing activities; ability to plan, guide, and monitor manufacturing processes for compliance.
Knowledge of procedures and tools for scheduling and controlling production runs; ability to utilize knowledge of daily manufacturing processes to assure quality deliverables.

Salary: £52,000-£62,500
