GTS Banking and Finance are recruiting for a Group Risk Account Manager to work for our client on hybrid basis (commutable to London or Surrey)

Our client, a leading provider of financial services, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Group Risk Account Manager to join their team. Reporting directly to the Principal Health & Protection, you'll be an integral part of a small team of Group Risk and healthcare advisers and support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and nurture a portfolio of mainly SME group protection clients.
- Provide expert advice and administration services to each client, ensuring their needs are met with precision and care.
- Drive cross and upselling opportunities within the existing client base while actively seeking out new business opportunities.
- Follow established processes to deliver a personalised and high-quality service that exceeds client expectations.
- Collaborate effectively with the team to maintain a supportive and cohesive work environment.
Experience/Qualifications:
Essential:
- Proven track record in a similar account management role within the financial services sector.
- In-depth understanding of group protection insurances, including Life Assurance Trusts and associated wellbeing benefits.
- Excellent organisational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- GR1 qualification preferred.
- Experience with iO software is advantageous.
