The Opportunity:

We are working with  a global software and managed services provider to the world’s leading banks, asset managers, custodians and broker dealers with offices in the UK, Europe, Middle East, Asia Pacific and the US.

This is an opportunity for a capable Group Tax Manager to join this international business taking on global responsibilities for corporate income tax and indirect taxes in all jurisdictions that they operate in. The role will be the ‘go to’ person for tax matters, supported by the Group VAT Accountant, working closely with members of the senior finance team.

This is very much a ‘hands on’ role, with responsibility covering routine tax compliance, progressing multiple tax projects supported by external advisors and stepping back to take a broader overview of tax and risk in the Group.

There will be many exciting projects to get involved in, supported by the external advisors, for example;

• Transfer Pricing –
• Rationalisation of intercompany balances for selected counterparties –
• US compliance – forms 1099 / 1042, US Sales Tax – nexus review (External advisor in  US providing advisory support)

This is a fantastic in-house corporate tax role for you if you are looking to work for an international company and take on additional projects and tax skills, bringing with you solid corporate tax experience and an interest in supporting international tax issues.

Competitive benefits, Salary to £66,000 plus a good bonus.  Generous hybrid working arrangements. Easily commutable M4/5
