Job Introduction

We are thrilled to announce that we are looking for a Guest Services Ambassador to join the Rapport team at our impressive new-built client site, based in Unity Place, Milton Keynes.

As out Guest Services Ambassador, your overall purpose would be to provide excellent service to clients and customers. Our Client is a global financial services company where not a single day is the same! It is a forward-thinking and modern environment, overseeing the Ground and Executive Floor Receptions, as well as the internal client floors.

This is a full-time, permanent role (40 hours per week). The service hours are from Monday to Friday, on a shift rota basis between 7:30 AM – 6 PM, with flexibility as per business needs.

Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum

Main responsibilities

  • Providing excellent service to internal clients and guests alike, carrying out all duties to the highest of standards.
  • Providing a warm welcome to all guests and visitors, escorting them to meeting rooms/desired location
  • Taking ownership of the ground floor / welcome area within the building, and consistently looking for ways to make the guest or client experiences memorable
  • Efficiently supporting with the guest journey via the use of the relevant booking systems and technology
  • Seeking opportunities to improve efficiencies and enhance the overall business environment
  • Continuously looking for opportunities to develop our service and innovations
  • Proactively dealing with enquiries and requests in person, via the telephone or email, in a timely and professional manner.

The ideal candidate will

  • Ideally have a minimum of one year of receptionist experience in a five-star establishment (e.g., hotel, airlines, or corporate environment)
  • Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Have the ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure while remaining flexible and adaptable
  • Be able to work as part of the team and create rapport with key stakeholders
  • Possess strong attention to detail and accuracy, a can-do attitude and innovative mindset
  • Be proactive, welcoming, upbeat, confident, innovative, passionate about delivering outstanding service
  • Display operational effectiveness and ensure all standards are adhered to
