Guitar Teacher

We have a fantastic opportunity for a professional and inspiring Guitar Teacher to delivery high quality individual and small group instrumental lessons.

We currently have teaching vacancies for the following:

• Guitar, Bass Guitar & Ukulele

Teachers are expected to be available during the school academic terms to work in primary and secondary schools, along with opportunities for additional work during the holiday periods. The teaching work will be a mix of beginner to intermediate, with a goal for performance, growing the students confidence and passing graded exams. The position is for self-employed or employed depending on the candidates circumstances.

About You

We are looking for individuals who:

• Hold a recognised music diploma, degree, or who can demonstrate an equivalent level of achievement in their own field of practice.
• Possess specialist musical knowledge related to their instrument or field of practice, and are able to perform or create music to a high standard.
• Are reflective practitioners with a passion for continued learning and development.
• Have experience of working with children from a range of social backgrounds or are willing to learn.
• Are aware of current initiatives in the UK music education system.

The starting salary for this role is £25 per hour.

Driving licence and own transport are essential for these roles.
