Salary Job Title: Hairdresser
Salary: Grade 4 - 15 hours per week £10,615.92 per annum

Applications are invited for the position of Hairdresser to provide a hairdressing service to beneficiaries of Pilkington Family Trust, both male and female, in their own homes and at our short-term respite care home.
Job Description:
* To provide a hairdressing service to beneficiaries of Pilkington Family Trust
* To manage own appointment system to ensure beneficiaries are given equal opportunity to use the service
* To maintain a record of each beneficiary visited
* To maintain adequate hairdressing stock
* To collect payment from beneficiaries and reconcile money before paying into accounts department
* To keep a record of business miles to allow an accurate claim for expenses to be submitted each month
* To report any concerns about a beneficiary to the Services Co-ordinator
Person:
* Good level of education up to GCSE standard
* Minimum of NVQ Level II in Hairdressing or equivalent qualification
* At least 2 years' experience in hairdressing
* Must be able to organise and prioritise own work
* Good time management skills
* Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
* Caring, compassionate nature and a good understanding of the needs of older people
Applicants must hold a current full clean driving licence and be a car owner. Fuel expenses will be paid.
