Position: Head Chef - Italian Cuisine

Location: Delhi, India

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 NET per year

In India for 3-4 months and then back to Italy for a month-long vacation

Job Overview: The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Italian cuisine, with a strong background in creating and executing high-quality dishes.
The Italian Head Chef will be responsible for managing the kitchen, overseeing menu development, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
We know being away from home is hard, therefore, this role has the possibility of working in India for 3-4 months and taking 1 month during the year.
You will be working 6 days per week.
This is a new opening restaurant that is going to be expanding around the sites and opening more venues in the coming years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Develop and execute innovative Italian menus, maintaining authenticity and high standards.
• Ensure the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.
• Manage kitchen inventory, order supplies, and control costs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement new culinary initiatives.
• Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate them into the menu.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Italian Head Chef or in a similar senior culinary role.
• Expertise in Italian cuisine, with a strong portfolio of authentic and innovative dishes.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Willingness to relocate to Delhi, India.
