Responsibilities
• Lead a team of 4 in the kitchen• Produce seasonal and exciting menus• Ensure all food is prepared with locally sourced ingredients• Manage occasional banqueting functions• Maintain a fully equipped, modern kitchen• Ensure high quality and presentation of food• Oversee the operation of the on-site Gastro Pub• Provide leadership and guidance to kitchen staff• Adhere to health and safety regulations• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
Requirements
• Experience as a Sous Chef or Head Chef• Competence in preparing fresh food• Passion for cooking and creativity• Knowledge of locally sourced ingredients• Ability to lead and manage a team• Excellent organizational and time management skills• Understanding of health and safety regulations• Ability to work well under pressure• Flexibility to work occasional split shifts• Desire for career advancement
