Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Head Chef to join our team and lead our kitchen staff. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing all culinary activities, ensuring excellent quality and presentation of dishes, and maintaining a smooth kitchen operation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the kitchen team in food preparation and cooking
- Create innovative menus and develop new recipes
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards
- Train kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan and execute special events or promotions
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen management
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
- Creative flair for developing new dishes and menus
- Strong communication skills to interact with staff and management effectively
