Head Chef - Worcester Hotel ROP DOE

The Bank House Hotel, Spa & Golf Club is a 4 star hotel which boasts 66 rooms, a newly refurbished 90 cover restaurant and bar, as well as flexible business facilities with 8 meeting and conference rooms suitable for training courses, conferences, workshops or corporate celebration dinners, weddings & events in the Worcester area. We also have an 18 hole golf course on site called 'Bransford Golf Club' and our beautiful Malvern View Spa.

We are searching for an experienced Head Chef to come in and oversee the busy catering operation for the site. With a newly refurbished restaurant, development of our menu and offering is essential while good banqueting knowledge will prove indispensable within a busy operation catering for events up to 400 people.

This role will involve (but is not limited to):

• Controlling and directing the food preparation process.
• Approving and polishing dishes before they reach the customer.
• Managing and development of your brigade.
• Creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes ensuring variety and quality including allergen data.
• Determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering.
• Ultimately responsible for ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines.
• Being responsible for health and safety.
• Being responsible for food hygiene practices.

SALARY DEPENDANT ON EXPERIANCE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
