Location: West Midlands Working Arrangement: Predominately remote (occasional onsite presence) Our client is currently looking for a Head Adult Social Care Commissioning to adopt the visions of the council and continue to drive them within the sector. You will be focusing on Learning Disabilities and Domiciliary care within Older People. Please see below for further details:
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a strategic vision for Adult Social Care services, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and regulatory requirements
* Lead the commissioning process, from needs assessment to service design and contract management, ensuring the highest standards of care and value for money
* Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including local authorities, healthcare providers and community organisations
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives, incorporating innovative approaches to enhance service quality and efficiency
* Inspire and lead a dedicated team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence Requirements:
* Proven experience in a senior leadership role within Adult Social Care commissioning
* Strong understanding of the regulatory framework and current trends in Social Care
* Exceptional strategic thinking and decision-making skills
* Knowledge of ICBs and Integration across Councils and their partnerships
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* A passion for enhancing the well-being of vulnerable adults in the community
