As the Head of Advanced Data Analytics, you will be responsible for delivering the Data Analytics / machine learning development improvement portfolio across the NHSCFA and wider health sector in England. In particular you will have senior management responsibility for the management, development and implementation of NHS CFA’s analytical and data science function within NHSCFA. This will involve driving forward large-scale proof of concept models through the innovative use of data and analytical techniques to Counter Fraud through collaborative partnerships across the organisation, the wider health and public sector and enabling the environment through ensuring the analytical capability meets the needs of NHSCFA, aligning with strategic intentions that drive innovation and organisational impact and the delivery of key strategic financial targets.

The post holder will act as the strategic lead within the organisation for all Analytical and Performance Services which sit under the Director of Performance and Improvement’s remit.
You will lead and provide comprehensive support and guidance to individual workstreams and people within the programmes of work, in line with NHSCFA strategic aims and objectives. Undertaking collaborative engagements with stakeholder groups, you will facilitate solutions to progress, meet milestones and enable the sector to combat fraud providing project management oversight and accountability, whilst adhering to tight deadlines and reporting, governance processes.
There will be the additional expectation of developing your own skillsets for and creating and maintaining high quality outputs, whilst managing competing deadlines.

• Plan and organise activities to support the strategic direction of the priority areas as part of the Data Analytics portfolio or programmes, projects and workstreams to improve services for our stakeholders, ensure service improvements are achievable and sustainable.
• Lead the development of related strategic programmes and projects, planning for improvement initiatives, clearly outlining milestones, risks and outcome measures, and ensuring programme activities are aligned and coordinated to maximise delivery benefit across multiple improvement workstreams.
• Lead the implementation and further development of the NHS CFA analytical capability.
