My client, an award winning automotive company are seeking an experienced Head of Aftersales with a passion for delivering quality leadership and customer service. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join the business in a brand-new role, at a time of growth and development. This role will be central to the business and will report into the Aftersales Director of the company. This is a Monday-Friday role, working 45 hour per week.
Main duties:
- Supporting the Aftersales Director and be the point of contact for service and parts managers, assisting with any queries and providing support
- Hold regular meetings with the aftersales managers to ensure performance, and that KPI measures are being achieved
- Run reports and analyse data to ensure aftersales department performance
- Looking after the wellbeing and progression of team members through regular appraisals
- Customer visits to build and maintain strong relationships
- Work with the People team and Marketing team
- Managing, coaching and motivating employees to ensure a high quality of staff. Establishing business objectives and personal development goals, and monitoring performance against agreed targets
- Carrying out manager appraisals.
- Performance analysis to identify areas of weakness and appropriate, targeted marketing activity.
Key requirements:
- Extensive automotive industry experience, in an Aftersales position at senior management level
- Experience using Kerridge/Keyloop or similar dealer management system
- Extensive knowledge of the operational running of a workshop / dealership
- A thorough knowledge of customer and market analysis, marketing initiatives and customer satisfaction
- Strong, hands-on leadership style and people management skills - encouraging achievements through teamwork, and positive company culture
- Experienced in customer satisfaction with excellent customer service skills
- Computer literate
