As the Head of Building Safety, you will be:
- Responsible for developing and delivering the Building Safety and Compliance programme across the association's assets, ensuring 100% compliance with all statutory, regulatory and best practice Building Safety requirements
- Developing Building Safety cases for all buildings ensuring that these are maintained and be responsible for applying for building assessment certificates
- Implement contract management processes, including the development of contractor KPI's, conducting service review meetings regularly and maintaining strong relationships
- Work alongside the Director of Building Safety to plan future spend requirements, formulate and monitor budgets delivering value for money across tenants and the organisation
Experience / Qualifications:
- Proven experience of leading a Building Safety and compliance team across a multi-site, complex Building Safety environment
- This role requires experience working for a local authority or housing association
- In depth knowledge and understanding of current statutory and regulatory Building Safety requirements
- Extensive experience producing and maintaining Building Safety cases and Building Safety case reports
- Experience managing stakeholders with experience presenting data and findings to a range of audiences and governance boards
