Role Overview:
As the Head of Clearing Operations, you'll play a pivotal role in managing Clearing Operations for their Crypto Exchange. From hands-on design to day-to-day operations, you'll lead the charge in building and executing a world-class clearing function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Clearing Operations, encompassing custody, settlement, transfers of fiat and crypto, derivatives, futures, and additional functions.
- Establish and guide a top-tier team from inception to bolster the expansion of the clearing function.
- Foster close collaboration with management, product teams, and control functions to propel continuous product development and improvements.
- Guarantee adherence to regulatory and risk management standards relevant to Clearing Operations.
- Oversee critical business relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- In-depth experience in derivatives, futures, CFDs, and related financial instruments.
- Detailed knowledge of regulatory and risk management requirements.
- Track record of leading operating teams within regulated clearing businesses.
- Experience in designing and implementing processes and tools for Clearing Operations.
- Strong understanding of risk management and internal controls.
