Head of Commercial Finance - FMCG Business

Location: Nuneaton, UKSalary: £100,000 - £115,000 per annum + Bonus + £7,000 Car Allowance

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Commercial Finance function, providing strategic financial guidance to support business decisions.
• Manage and mentor a geographically diverse team, ensuring robust financial control across multiple UK sites.
• Drive the delivery of accurate financial reporting and insightful analysis to inform business strategy.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to optimise profitability and efficiency, contributing to long-term business growth.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
• Lead on key finance projects and initiatives, driving continuous improvement.

Your Profile:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with extensive post-qualification experience in a similar role.
• Proven track record in a leadership position within an FMCG or similar fast-paced environment (retail, logistics, hospitality etc).
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Operationally facing experience is preferable, working with more operational teams across the business.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing and developing teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset.
