Phipps Cameron are currently partnering with an international, private equity backed manufacturing business, looking for a strategic and analytical Head of Commercial Finance to partner with the Chief Commercial Officer and report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. This pivotal role will be instrumental in driving better volume, margin, and pricing decisions by customer, tracking progress towards commercial targets, and ensuring discipline in focus. The successful candidate will also conduct in-depth analysis on customer profitability and trends. As the first Commercial Finance hire, you will have the exciting opportunity to build and lead your own team.
Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the CCO to drive optimal volume, margin, and pricing decisions.
• Monitor and track progress towards commercial targets, ensuring a disciplined approach.
• Perform comprehensive analysis on customer profitability and market trends.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support and influence business decisions.
• Develop and implement robust financial models and dashboards to monitor performance.
• Present findings and actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
• Build and lead a high-performing Commercial Finance team as the function grows.

Candidate Requirements:

• Significant experience in a senior Commercial Finance role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to translate data into actionable insights.
