The company is going through a strong digital transformation and exponential growth which allows for the Head of Communications to have a strong presence within the company. The role will have full autonomy of the strategy and budget, whilst also managing a team.

My client is within the Financial Services sector based in South Manchester and offer a range of products and services to their customer base. They have an ambitious and welcoming culture, and the Head of Communications will have a large presence in supporting wider teams whilst working closely with the HR and Marketing functions.

Description

The role of the Head of Communication will involve:

• Managing internal stakeholders and communications alongside the HR team
• Managing the corporate reputation with external stakeholders
• Support on ensuring product and service communications are understandable to their customer base
• Work closely with wider marketing team and manage external agencies
• To develop the PR management with the communications team

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Proven experience in a Communications management or Head of Communications position
• Ability to be strategic and confident to liaise with senior stakeholders to meet tight deadlines
• Be proactive and hands on
• Knowledge or experience working with PR in previous/current role would be advantageous
• Open to candidates from any sector within B2B or D2C
