About the Role: Responsible for all aspects of the planning, acquisition, provisioning and security of the systems and services that underpin ARU’s on-campus information-technology delivery, as well as associated public and private cloud services, our Head of Core Infrastructure will provide senior leadership for the teams responsible for platform and storage management, data administration and our internal and external networks as well as co-leading our cybersecurity response. A member of our IT Services Management Team, representing us internally and externally at a senior level, the post holder will be influential in the success of the department. With a higher degree or a relevant professional qualification as well as significant professional experience relevant to the role, you will have background in infrastructure or datacentre management, experience of working with a range of technologies scaled to a medium-sized (1000+ employee) corporate environment and a proven record of positive and supportive people management. Previous experience of supplier management is essential. Knowledge of IT service management frameworks would be advantageous.
