Our client is now looking for a Head of Counselling and Wellbeing Services to join their team on a full-time basis, working 37.5 hours per week. Our client is open to permanent or temporary contracts.

The Role
As our client’s Head of Counselling and Wellbeing Services, you will provide leadership to their team of counsellors and therapists whilst managing the day-to-day delivery of their services.
Overseeing new and existing Counselling and therapeutic services, you will manage the allocation of clients to therapists according to their skills and experience as well as holding your own caseload of clients.
You will also lead clinical governance and risk management, ensuring our client meets the clinical standards set by professional regulatory bodies and commissioners.
Additionally, you will:
- Implement and review clinical policies and procedures
- Act as the safeguarding lead
- Maintain records of clinical work
About You
To be considered as our client’s Head of Counselling and Wellbeing Services, you will need:
- 3 years’ post-qualification experience as a psychodynamic, integrative or humanistic counsellor or psychotherapist
- Experience of clinical governance and risk management
- Experience managing a team
- Experience monitoring and evaluating services
- Knowledge of safeguarding legislation relating to children and adults
- A professional qualification in counselling
- To be registered or accredited with UKCP, BACP, BPC, HCPC or another relevant body
