Head Chef Malverleys Farm & Dining

Set on the edge of the picturesque Wessex Downs in the North Hampshire countryside, Malverleys is a small farm, 30 cover restaurant, bakery and shop. The menu reflects our surroundings and the seasons, with all our ingredients coming straight from the farm or trusted producers. We offer a versatile space for the local community to enjoy coffee, freshly made patisserie, a glass of wine and wholesome food.

Our menus are shaped by the bounty of our thriving market garden and the careful sourcing of produce by trusted suppliers.

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Head Chef to join our team.

What we’re looking for:

• Someone passionate about fresh produce and the cooking of Italy and France
• Experience in developing and costing seasonal menus
• A natural curiosity about produce and sourcing quality ingredients
• To maintain our supplier relationships
• The ability to communicate the provenance of dishes and ingredients to the team and guests
• A deep interest in the food of Britain and Europe
• A warm and motivating character who has a track record of building and developing teams
• Health and safety management and maintaining our scores on the doors
• To minimise waste at every opportunity
• Strict inventory management

Working Expectations

Only two evenings per week, Friday and Saturday. Monday and Tuesday off. 45-48 hours per week.
