Head of Data Operations. Global Financial Services. London.
Our Financial Services client are looking for a Head of Data Operations in London.
Total Comp: £190k - £230k Base, Car Allowance (Taken as cash) + Bonus + Pension + PMI
Location: London / Hybrid
Purpose: Managing a large team of Data professionals (on and offshore) defining the LT vision of the team, ensuring the effective delivery of all Data Services. Data Operations delivers a suite of Services such as Data Masters, Classification, Index Onboarding & Help Desk.
Our client recently rolled out their STOM based on a new Data Strategy and is being backed by the board and the suite of services are expected to grow as Data asset owners across the company. This investment in the team will create further opportunities
Experience needed:
- Head of working within Data Operations experience
- Financial Services industry (bonus should you have Asset Mgt or Investment Banking background)
- Experience managing big teams (On and offshore) - 20+
- Strong PM skills
- Built and implemented Data Services aligned to the agreed data strategy.
- Ability to create structure and processes across the team to ensure services are delivered within control / risk parameters.
- Worked in environments which demand large and constant change whilst also being able to operate effectively in BAU
