To begin their Belfast journey, our client is seeking a motivated, passionate and analytically-minded Head of Data Operations - Site Lead to play a pivotal role in the establishment and development of their brand new Belfast office.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead and mentor a team of Data Operations Managers and Associates, ensuring efficiency, accuracy and high-quality within time-sensitive SLAs
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to implement, develop and improve data processing workflows
• Supervise the implementation of quality control measures to uphold the integrity and accuracy of processed data
• Manage and coordinate various projects within the Data Operations realm, ensuring they are completed promptly and align with organizational objectives
• Engage closely with cross-functional teams to comprehend their data requirements and streamline delivery processes, including cross-jurisdictional teams in London and USA
• Play a key role in performance management, training and development of junior and senior colleagues

Who you are:

• Proven Leadership: Demonstrated ability in team management, particularly in a comparable setting or related industry, including experience as a manager of managers. Capable of driving high-performance teams and fostering collaboration.
• Readiness to Challenge the Status Quo: Possess a proactive mindset toward improvement, unafraid to voice suggestions for enhancing processes.
• Growth Mindset: Firm belief in the potential for team members' development through dedication and effort, acknowledging that intelligence and talent are merely starting points.
• Meticulous Attention to Detail: Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Skilled in auditing team output to ensure consistent high standards of accuracy and quality.
• Effective Senior Stakeholder Relations: Proficient in establishing robust communication channels with senior stakeholders across different locations and time zones.
• Financial Acumen: Experience and interest in financial or capital markets, with familiarity in financial statements, data extraction tools, HTML, and some proficiency in financial data software such as SQL or PowerBI
• Ideally, you will have previous experience in setting up brand new teams and building out new workflows and processes from the ground up
