Description

• Oversee the financial operations of the Development Finance department
• Lead and manage the accounting and finance team
• Develop financial strategies to ensure the sustainability of the not for profit and charities sector
• Manage budget planning and control
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies
• Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Participate in strategic decision-making at the executive level

Profile

A successful Head of Development Finance should have:

• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent
• Solid knowledge of financial regulations and standards
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Housing background is essential, ideally within the business partnering or development sector.
• Excellent analytical and strategic planning abilities
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse team

Job Offer
