We are committed to empower people to rebuild their lives and regain independence. The service you will work in….The Digital Experience team at Hestia are responsible for co-designing, implementing and measuring the digital initiatives that make a real difference for the people we support. It could be a survivor of domestic abuse, modern slavery or mental health challenges.You will own the vision for digital at Hestia and lead the adoption of user centered practice across the organisation. You will have the opportunity to develop new and existing products that will improve the experience for the people we support.A day in this role looks like….As Head of Digital Experience at Hestia, you will play a crucial role in our Digital service. Your contributions will directly influence the lives of our
service users, guiding them towards a path of empowerment and independence.A day will never look the same and some of the things you can expect to do/be responsible for are:Lead delivery of initiatives within the digital and IT strategy, including: engagement with services to help them define how digital can enhance their support, provision of Digital inclusion support, development of a proof of concept for a new wellbeing product for the people we support, and using user-centred design principles to redesign some of our key internal processes.Establish effective working relationships with peers and other colleagues leading digital and IT initiatives and related work, including members of our IT, Data, HR, and Operational Services teams.Strategic direction for our portfolio of Digital domestic abuse portfolio, including the Bright Sky app and website, Respond to Abuse tools for employers, and Online Safe Spaces.Provide leadership and expertise across user-centred research, design and development. For example, by coaching teams in how to define user needs or map user journeys.Lead the Digital Experience team, taking a supportive, coaching approach to line management, recruiting new roles to build a multi-functional team, and providing opportunities for the team to develop as digital leaders.Encourage open working practices by sharing learning from our digital journey through retrospectives, show and tells, and other internal and external events, presentations, blogs, and reports.Maintain and develop effective ways of working with the team, and internal/external partners.Collaborate with colleagues in the Fundraising team to secure partners and funding to sustain and grow our digital work, and evidence our impact.Manage the budget for the Digital Experience team.​Why Hestia?Joining Hestia means more than just a job; it's an opportunity to be part of something bigger.
