LV/ HV / MV
Review Electrical designs for critical environments
Switchgear, UPS, Generators
Strategy for data centre resilience
Design of the MV/LV electrical distribution
SCADA
Technical Documentation for Electrical systems
Design Management
• Responsible for coordination of all technical activities on assigned projects, including review and evaluation of design and monitoring of technical works for compliance to applicable codes and accepted engineering practices.
• Analyse design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
• Assist in developing capital project programs and budgets for new equipment and major repairs.
• Review equipment failures and diagnose faulty operation where latent defect arise.
• Identify suitable design consultants; assign, direct, and evaluate their work.
• Identify design key risks and ensure they form part of a project risk register.
• Assist in the preparation of consultant professional agreements and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to these contractual agreements with consultants when required.
Play a leading role in the delivery of the M&E design and assist with M&E
• Relevant Engineering Degree or acceptable Engineering Diploma
• 8 years experience in a heavy power utilisation industry, Design, Installation and Maintenance
• 11kV switching experience
• Strong knowledge of M&E works and local authority approval process in London
• Working knowledge of all critical systems equipment.
