Salary Are you an experienced Head of Engineering looking for a new challenging and varied position on a permanent basis for a leading organisation within the renewable's sector, our client hold a 15% Market share with the industry in the UK, boasting a portfolio of over 34 GW+ of energy capacity currently dominating the UK Bess Market. Who are now looking for a Head of Engineering Specializing in Power Transmission to come in and lead a strong team of 6 engineers and 50 contractors, in a role where you will Analyse and execute complex projects across the UK.
Head of Engineering - Power Transmission
Essential Skills / Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
* 5+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles, with a focus on Power Transmission systems and technologies.
* Proven track record of successfully leading and managing engineering teams, delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
* Deep technical expertise in Power Transmission principles, including gear systems, drivetrains, and electrical power distribution.
* Demonstrated leadership qualities including strategic thinking, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.

* Develop and execute the engineering roadmap for Power Transmission products and systems, aligning with business objectives and market demands.
* Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
* Drive product innovation and development, leveraging emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance performance, efficiency, and reliability.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure seamless integration of Engineering solutions.
* Conduct regular design reviews, risk assessments, and performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
* Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and standards related to Power Transmission, incorporating relevant advancements into product design and development processes.
* Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to meet project milestones and deliverables.
