About the Role:

This is a global role leading and driving Britvic’s Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Health and Wellbeing agenda, a core element of our Healthier People, Healthier Planet strategic priority. Accountable for establishing strategy, plan, governance, and development actions that deliver our Healthier People commitments and evolving our D&I maturity.


This role loves rolling their sleeves up, to bring people together, co-create solutions that address the opportunities of being a diverse and inclusive employer, and making a real impact on all our stakeholders (employees, supply chain, customers and consumers).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and delivery of an organisational wide Equity strategy (that includes Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing), defining priorities and measurement, building an agile, pragmatic and actionable plan.
  • Engage and align stakeholders, resources and project manage the delivery of initiatives that embed change. Working with and through leadership, HR and the organisation to drive accountability and tangible results.
  • Drive the Britvic Equity governance model, assessing and refining the governance structure, accountabilities, feedback and effectiveness, adjusting and refining, where necessary.
  • Embed Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing practices across the employee lifecycle, working with relevant business partners & centres of expertise and holding them to account for delivery of their plans.
  • Identify and manage strategic external partners that create value to build better practices within our business.
  • Lead learning, development and education agenda for Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing, working with appropriate partners, and making sure appropriate measurement that makes a shift in awareness and behaviours.
  • Co-ordinate data analytics and reporting to meet all compliance/regulatory requirements across all markets. Lead the translation of data insights to feed and inform strategic priorities, targets and actions for the organisation.
  • Deliver coaching and counsel to our Leadership and HR teams on all matters linked to wellbeing, diversity, inclusion and belonging to influence better decisions related to people practices and priorities
  • Directly influence Senior Leadership across Britvic including the plc Exec, senior leaders and the ESG committee
  • Lead, motivate and manage direct team, project teams and employee resource groups to drive impactful actions that makes the lived experience better every day


Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

  • Passion for the Equity agenda and energy for improving the lived experience of employees in Britvic.
  • Systemic thinker balancing longer range thinking with practical next steps, able to diagnose and develop interventions across the organisation.
  • Outstanding project manager with the ability to manage complex workstreams.
  • Works collaboratively with immediate, extended and external teams e.g. external partners, communities, and networks to strengthen organisational initiatives.
  • Lead and deliver multiple priorities with a high degree of flexibility and accountability, in an agile fast-evolving environment.
  • Able to use data and insight to drive decision making and measure success of initiatives.
  • Strong influencing and communication skills exhibited at all levels within an organisation.
  • Proven success driving measurable organisational change by designing, building, implementing, and managing successful practices and programmes.
  • Curious learner scans the external environment to identify opportunities to improve our practice and plans.
  • Able to challenge and holds others to account for their behaviour, actions and outcomes.
