Burman Recruitment are currently working with a University client based in London on the search for a Head of Finance on an Permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans and budgets in alignment with the university's strategic goals.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including university leadership, board of trustees, and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor and manage the university's cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
• Identify and assess financial risks, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes, including cost-benefit analysis and financial modeling.
• Oversee the financial aspects of grant proposals, ensuring compliance with grant regulations and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure a smooth and transparent audit process.
• Develop and update financial policies and procedures to ensure alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.

Higher / Further Education experience is needed.
