Job description

Due to continued success and growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join a developing team to work in the pharmaceutical marketplace.

This position will be varied, and offers an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated and target driven individual to join a progressive company and to develop an exciting career.

Duties:

  • Managing and delivering complex projects and portfolios of change for the organisation
  • Identify the skills and resources required for project delivery and where needed recruit and build a project team with roles and responsibilities that are clearly defined
  • Mentoring and developing team members to ensure the efficient delivery of projects and changes within the business
  • Responsibility for the efficient running of these teams by setting project objectives and working within a matrix management environment.
  • Conducting 1-2-1s for any staff you are assigned to line manage
  • Managing and influencing stakeholders across the business at all levels
  • Responsibility for the day-to-day task management of Business and Operational Analysts assigned to projects and management of third parties to deliver their commitments for the business
  • Be fully compliant with project governance, reporting and tracking
  • Define the project scope appropriately, employing techniques for scope traceability between programmes and projects
  • Reviewing and monitoring progress against project plans to ensure outputs are delivered to time, budget and quality specifications
  • Within the project (or wider programme context), engage with assurance reviews and the implementation of review recommendations
  • Managing projects within the agreed budget while alleviating risks or issues to ensure milestone dates are achieved
  • Estimating project costs as required
  • Reporting project progress in line with stated policies and procedures within the organisation, including ensuring that any requests for information on projects from the Change Portfolio Lead and other senior staff within the organisation are answered in a timely manner
  • There will also be an opportunity for this candidate to identify efficiency's within Cross Healthcare and present them to stakeholders

The role is flexible for the right person and hours can be discussed

£44,000 - £55,000
