- To work with the senior management colleagues to develop and define the corporate strategy and set objectives
- To lead all areas of financial management and control, and to provide accurate, robust financial information in a timely manner to guide the organisation’s decision-making, with timely reporting to Global HQ
- Appraisal of the overall performance of the organisation’s finance, logistics, contract management.
- To provide leadership to the team within the role’s remit, making sure that systems, processes and controls are efficient and effective, matching or exceeding customer needs.
- To take ownership for information integrity and governance, ensuring compliance with all statutory, tax and data protection requirements
- Establish pricing strategy and appropriate inventory levels
- Drive organisational change through strong, forward looking financial analysis & partnership with leadership team
- Improve systems & software to provide critical financial & operational performance including Power BI
- Lead delivery of Annual Report and Accounts
- Lead accounting and operations teams including stock, SOP, and outsourced warehousing
The role will suit a qualified accountant with a strong track record of positive commercial influence over past businesses, built upon the foundation of first class financial reporting. You will have an outward-looking, entrepreneurial approach to organisational leadership and the capacity and commercial acumen to respond swiftly to opportunities and think innovatively about new initiatives. Demonstrable diplomacy to resolve conflict in a positive way, but also with resilience and self-motivated to achieve goals. There are numerous projects over the next 18 months to provide added challenge.
