As a Head of Finance - Operations and Trading, you are an ACA (or equivalent) qualified, resilient individual with a high level of commercial acumen and a strong analytical thinker. You are an excellent communicator who possess strong relationship building and exceptional leadership and people management abilities. Your experience within finance business partnering or FP&A within a finance function has provided you with the ability to challenge and negotiate where required and become a reliable leader and advisor.
This is a high profile, highly commercial and influential role supporting the Executive and across the entire organisation to drive performance. A significant leadership role responsible for the development of a high performing Finance Business Partnering and Commercial Pricing Team, developing excellence across a number of core competencies, team processes and representing the entire Finance function to the wider organisation.
The key deliverables for the Head of Finance - Operations and Trading are:
To deliver commercial decision support to drive performance
Service line strategy, development and execution
Executive stakeholder management through acting as primary contact for all their financial needs
To provide decision support to Executive and SLT stakeholders aligned to the Charity Plan, driving achievement of business cases put forward
Provision of business insight
Appraisal of business performance and approval of investments to levels of delegated authority
Leadership and development of a high performing Finance Business Partnering and Commercial Pricing Team
Member of the Commercial Finance Directorate SLT contributing to the leadership across the wider finance team
