We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Finance for our Product Division. As the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities within the product division, ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing budgets, and providing strategic financial guidance to drive business growth and profitability.
- You will develop and implement financial strategies and policies to support the product division's objectives and drive financial performance.
- You will manage and oversee the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the product division, this function represents circa 2,500 people globally with 20% of the companies revenue reinvested in R&D
- You will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements that you will present the at ExCo level, working in collaboration with the business leaders for the function.
- You will monitor and analyse financial performance, identify areas of improvement, and provide recommendations to senior management.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop pricing strategies, cost analysis, and profitability models for new and existing products.
- You will lead the financial evaluation of new product initiatives, including financial modelling, investment analysis, and risk assessment.
- You will manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure to optimize financial resources and support business growth.
- You will be responsible for the product division's accounting operations.
- You will maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
- You will stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial management to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement. You will support the product functions transition to becoming a Industry leading SaaS organisation, all this while managing a small team of Finance professionals.
- You will be a fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with 5+ years of experience in a global matrixed organisation preferably within the banking or financial software industry.
- You will have strong knowledge of financial analysis, financial planning and forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- You will have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders at senior level
- You will have excellent understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- You will have the ability to lead and manage a team, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and influence decision-making.
- You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
