Head Of Finance, Supply Chain

Are you qualified Accountant with a blend of Big4 and Industry experience ideally gained in a multisite Construction Materials organisation with exposure to Supply Chain and Logistics?

Stark Group UK are looking to appoint for the newly created Head of Finance, Supply Chainrole, you'll be a direct report of the Stark UK Group Finance Director, and act as a strategic business partner to the Stark UK Chief Logistics Officer. You'll be responsible for driving the financial performance of the Supply Chain function by providing a combination of support and challenge.

Responsibilities

• Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with Supply Chain and logistics leadership to identify cost-saving opportunities, optimise working capital management, and improve efficiency. At times this will involve cross-functional working across Stark UK, the Stark Group Supply Chain function, and 3PL service providers.
• Strategic Finance Leadership: Support the implementation, delivery and on-going tracking of key strategic initiatives within the Supply Chain function.
• Decision Support: Generate insightful reporting and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, and ultimately drive the purpose of the Supply Chain function, which is to support the profitable growth of the business.
• Performance Management & Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to identify and address discrepancies between planned and actual financial performance within the Supply Chain management accounts.
• Financial Planning & Analysis: Manage the financial planning process and own the production of the budget for the Supply Chain cost base.
• Management Accounts: Manage the month end process for Supply Chain operations.
• Line Management: Line management responsibility for one Finance Analyst.

Qualifications/Experiences

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent accounting qualification.
• Proven track record of driving cost-efficiencies.
• Proficient in financial modelling, but able to summarise the big picture simply and clearly.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively.
• Experience of working in Supply Chain/ logistics is desirable.
