Key Responsibilities
This Head of Finance role will be responsible for the following:
- Provide financial leadership and strategic direction to support operations and sales leaders in achieving business objectives.
- Partner with business unit leaders to analyse and improve the performance, supply chain efficiency, and overall productivity of business units.
- Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to support the company's strategic initiatives.
- Oversee financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and performance metrics.
- Manage and mentor one member of staff within the finance department, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Evaluate and optimise financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to drive business growth and profitability.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis and market trends.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Key Requirements
The successful candidate for this role will have:
- Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, or related field.
- Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and develop a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with business leaders to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis.
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organisation.
