The Head of Fraud (UKI) is responsible for leading our Fraud Strategy, Fraud Operations and Payments Operations teams across our UK&I gambling brands.
Reporting directly to the Director of Risk Operations UKI, this critical role will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our business whilst ensuring a seamless customer experience across our renowned brands: Sky Betting & Gaming, Paddy Power, and Betfair
What you’ll do
You will lead a team of operational and strategy analysts, composed of experts responsible for reviewing and approving actions on higher risk accounts as well as SMEs focussed on developing and maintaining our control environment to respond to the evolving landscape.
Set the strategic direction and vision for the Fraud function, ensuring alignment with department and organizational objectives.
Foster a culture of excellence in customer experience while maintaining a strong focus on operational efficiency and risk mitigation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Compliance, Product, Commercial and Customer Operations, to effectively mitigate business risks whilst delivering a best-in-class customer experience.
Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess departmental performance and identify areas for improvement.
Build a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the department, encouraging professional development opportunities and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
How you’ll do it
Significant relevant experience in a risk based operational leadership role at a senior level ideally within a heavily regulated industry.
Relevant experience in one or more of the following fields - Fraud operations, Fraud strategy, Payments Operations
Operating at a level where communication with senior stakeholders is second nature.
Highly analytical and able to communicate complex data into presentable updates that influence senior stakeholders.
Experience with managing and making decisions on complex issues and customer cases.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
With teams based across Leeds, London, Malta and Dublin, semi-regular travel to these sites will be required
