This high-end engineering business based in South East London / Croydon area is seeking a well-presented confident and motivated administrator, with great planning and organisational skills to step in to cover a long-term sickness in their Health & Safety team.
The role requires meticulous attention to detail, good interpersonal/verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and use initiative. Prior experience in H&S is not essential but would be helpful, alongside can do attitude.
The role is not specifically H&S oriented, however, would involve working directly with this team - and the head of H&S - carrying out general administrative duties.
Duties include but are not limited to
- Maintain online systems, provide regular reports to management
- Manage register, schedule induction meetings, provide compliance reports
- Maintain emergency plan, review logs, assist with fire control tasks
- Monitor and report on evacuation plans
- Maintain templates
- Raise Purchase orders
- Process / input credit card expenses
- General administrative duties as required
Salary: £14 - 15 per hour
Hours: 9-5.30
Based: Hybrid (1 or 2 days WFH)
