Housing for Women is a registered charity and independent housing association. We champion female empowerment by providing and promoting affordable homes for women and gender-specific support services. We are currently seeking a Head of Fundraising to join our amazing team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role
As the Head of Fundraising, you will oversee the development and delivery our fundraising strategy.
You’ll lead on securing new funding opportunities, including corporate and individual donors, events and legacies, building positive relationships with existing and potential community supporters to maximise our income.
Managing fundraising campaigns and donor contacts, you’ll oversee budgets and financial targets and undertake competitor analysis and research, raising funds from a range of income streams.
Additionally, you will:
- Maintain a database of Grant Funded projects and fundraising activity
- Contribute to statutory funding bids
- Co-ordinate fundraising events
- Support PR and communications opportunities
About You
To be considered as our Head of Fundraising, you will need:
- Extensive experience in a fundraising role
- Expertise and experience in the application process for grants from trusts, Foundations, The National Lottery and statutory sources
- Experience of building relationships with and stewarding key funders
- Experience of staff management
- An understanding the principles of trusts and statutory fundraising
- Knowledge of the voluntary sector, including funding issues and opportunities
- Knowledge of grant giving bodies
- Strong relationship building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
