Ribbons & Reeves are currently working with an oversubscribed, comprehensive Secondary School in Kew who are keen to take on a new Head of History in September 2024.
This Head of History role would allow you to take ownership of the subject of History; refresh the planning & delivery of the History Curriculum with the support of experienced Teachers; and work closely with members of the Senior Leadership Team with a focus on whole-school development.
Head of History | The Role:

• Head of History | Located in Kew
• Permanent Position | September 2024
• 11-18 Secondary School rated 'Good' by Ofsted
• Outer London Pay Scale | MPS/UPS + TLR
• Supporting two other History Teachers, and working with other Humanities Leaders

Head of History | Requirements:

• Minimum of a 2:1 History-related Degree from a UK Top 20 University
• UK QTS gained through PGCE / Schools Direct / SCITT / Teach First
• Extensive experience as a History Teacher and/or experience as Head of History
• Ability to demonstrate successful teaching of GCSE and A-Level History & a thorough understanding of current educational thinking
