THE GIG Partnering closely with the Chief Operating Officer and the GSC Leadership Team, the Head of HRGlobal Supply Chain will work to develop and deliver a people strategy that balances our global people initiatives and unique business needs. The goal – together build a high performing leadership team and build the capability of their teams to deliver successful business performance, offering invaluable support to individuals during times of change. As our Head of HRGlobal Supply Chain, you will be responsible for:
  • Establishing strong relationships and advising the COO and GSC leadership team.
  • Driving Global HR strategy implementation in GSC with innovative insights.
  • Developing the GSC people strategy, aligning with business objectives.
  • Guiding senior managers through organisational transformation.
  • Mentoring GSC management teams, providing commercial and customer-focused HR support.
  • Leading your team to provide a high-quality HR Service that supports business growth.
  • Attracting and retaining top talent through talent management.
  • Ensuring compliance in people policy, process, and reward, driving authentic change in HR processes.
  • Collaborating to drive positive change in employee engagement and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
  • Supporting HR policy implementation and management across regions.
  • Collaborating with Reward on competitive remuneration and incentive programs, aligning with market conditions.
  • Leading and/or supporting global and regional HR projects.
THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART Put simply, for this role the key things we’re looking for are:
  • Extensive experience in influencing and inspiring senior leaders and managers to drive the HR strategy.
  • The ability to think strategically and align HR strategies with business objectives, identifying issues, developing creative solutions, and implementation.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in your work.
  • Skilled in data analysis; leveraging HR analytics to drive informed decision-making.
  • Understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity globally, especially within APAC. Working with individuals from different backgrounds and navigate cultural nuances while implementing HR policies and practices.
  • Previous exposure in operational and strategic HR roles within Global Supply Chain for a similar or larger business.
  • You thrive in a matrix organisational structure with proven experience in collaborating and building strong working relationships across diverse departments, teams, and geographical locations.
  • An expert communicator with the ability to change your style to suit the audience whilst always being clear and concise. You ask great questions to get to the heart of the issue.
