Head of People & Culture, Poole, 12-month FTC
Rubicon People Partnership’s Specialist Sectors Division has been instructed by a thriving family-owned business based in Dorset, to headhunt candidates for their Head of People & Culture. This role is a 12-month FTC, reporting directly into the board as they embark on another stage of significant growth.
This ever-evolving business of around 150 employees, spread across multiple sites, is looking for an experienced HR professional to deliver the full spectrum of HR support, from the strategic business strategy, to overseeing the HR team.
As Head of People & Culture your responsibilities will include:
- Provide effective employee relations support to all line managers
- Identify new HR initiatives and present recommendations to the Directors
- Define and implement a training and development agenda
- Facilitate talent and succession planning
- Work closely with the Directors in determining compensation and benefits offered
The ideal Head of People & Culture will be able to demonstrate:
- Proven experience working as a HR Generalist, Head of HR/ HR Manager (or equivalent), ideally within a SME
- Experience dealing with internal stakeholders at senior level
- Be a pro-active self-starter with a positive, solutions focused attitude
- Ability to manage and produce reports
- Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
