Aston Manor Academy are seeking to appoint a well-qualified innovative and enthusiastic Head of IT/Computing. The successful candidate will first and foremost be an excellent classroom practitioner, who has enthusiasm for their subject, is able to motivate and inspire students and will further support the high achievements of the department.
Applications are welcome from all teachers and is a great opportunity for someone stepping into Leadership for the first time or already with leadership experience. Within the department, we teach ICT/Computing at Key Stage 3, OCR Creative iMedia at Key Stage 4 and OCR National Level 3 IT post-16. An understanding of OCR iMedia is essential but experience in delivering at KS5 is desirable but not essential for the role.
