SalaryStanton House is currently recruiting for a Deputy Financial Controller to join a Global Manufacturing Business in the Midlands on a 6-month Contract. The role pays up to £550 per day (IR35 to be determined) and offers hybrid working, 3 days per week in the office.
Responsibilities:
- Provide monthly financial results for Group Finance (three regions), supporting meaningful assessment and annual budgeting.
- Act as a key contact for the annual audit, ensuring timely availability of required information.
- Ensure accurate filing of statutory accounts, tax returns, and other necessary information.
- Assist in implementing improved accounting processes and maintaining compliance.
- Optimise working capital and ensure internal control compliance.
- Manage effective operation of accounting systems.
- Support and guide the Financial Controller on local management engagement.
- Assist in capital-related financial cases and weekly cash forecasts, providing variance analysis commentary.
To be suitable for this role you must have the following:
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) with 5 years PQE.
- Experience in a financial accounting department, ideally in a manufacturing context.
- Collaborative team player.
- Capable of efficiently handling conflicting demands within tight deadlines.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exhibits the ability to prioritise and organise a challenging workload.
