Job Title: Group Financial Controller

Location: Basingstoke (Hybrid)

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £90,000 - £120,000 Per annum

 

I am partnered with a fast paced leading business in their sector. They are looking to bring in a Group Financial Controller to lead their finance function as they implement new systems and support across this exciting growth. They are looking for someone who can drive change management initiatives to support the organisation's growth and development. 

Job Duties:

• Lead and manage the finance function within the organisation
• Implement new financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Oversee financial reporting and analysis, ensuring compliance with FRS 102 and IFRS
• Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management and board members
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes
• Lead the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors
• Develop and mentor a team of 15 finance professionals
• Drive change management initiatives to support the organisation's growth and development

Required Qualifications:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role
• Demonstrable knowledge of change management and finance transformation
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards (FRS 102, IFRS)
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Ability to drive strategic financial initiatives
• Proficiency in financial analysis and budgeting
