SalaryCMA Financial Recruitment is supporting a high growth technology business to recruit a proven Financial Controller, in a newly created role. The Financial Controller will be responsible for supporting the commercial growth and financial wellbeing of the organisation.
What will the role of Financial Controller involve?
- Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analysis.
- Performing inter-company reconciliations and eliminations, and ensuring consistency and accuracy of financial data across different entities and systems.
- Leading and coordinating the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and providing all required information and documentation in a timely manner.
- Providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders, based on accurate and reliable data analysis and reporting.
- Preparing and reviewing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, and monitoring actual performance against targets.
- Providing training and guidance to junior staff and other teams on accounting standards and principles.
What will you need to apply to be Financial Controller?
- Full qualification ACA, ACCA or CIMA essential.
- At least 3 years experience in a rounded Financial Controller position.
- Corporate or private equity experience desirable.
- Proactive and solutions focused by nature.
