Financial Controller

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to become an integral part of their small finance team.
Your new role
As Financial Controller, you will report directly to the Group VP of Finance and collaborate within a dynamic team of five. Your role will be pivotal in steering the financial direction of the company, ensuring the integrity of fiscal data, and contributing to our overall success.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the production of accurate financial reports and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders to provide financial insights and analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems, particularly within SAP.
• Act as a business partner, supporting departments with financial planning and decision-making
• Develop and manage financial systems/policies.
• Manage and monitor all aspects of company accounts and financial transactions.
• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
• Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports.
• Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost-reduction opportunities.
• Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies.
• Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations.
• Report timely and accurate financial information.
• Assist in presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members.

What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role. Exceptional knowledge and proficiency in SAP. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent business partnering and interpersonal abilities. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
